Now, some facts:
◾️the highest restaurant in Berlin – 207 m
◾️the elevator goes up at 6 m/s – your ears will pop!
◾️just going up to the restaurant starts at €28.5 per person (cheaper online)
◾️tables rotate along with the guests, so you never have to worry about the view (when we first sat down, we actually got dizzy, like on a ride – but then we got used to it 🤣)
◾️prices are above average: cocktails from €15.5, starters around €15, mains around €30. Everything is delicious – after all, the chef Tim Raue has 2 Michelin stars ⭐️⭐️
◾️the tower was built in just 3 years (1965—1969) and its total height with the spire is 368 m!

Kassel → Serengeti Park (About 2 hours / 213 km)

I’ve been DREAMING of visiting this place ever since I found out it existed 😱❤️
It’s the largest safari park in Europe!

We drove through the park in our own car and got super close to lions, tigers, giraffes, rhinos, and so many other exotic animals!

(Yes, I petted a giraffe again!!! 🦒)

There are also some fun rides included in the ticket — like a Bigfoot truck ride and a super fast boat 😄

What an amazing weekend it’s been 🥰❤️

We didn’t come here for the city itself, but for the largest mountain park in Europe! ⛰️⤵️

📍 Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe

The gem of the park is the 71-meter Hercules Monument (map) with dramatic cascading water features 🌟 The view from the top is absolutely breathtaking!

Other must-sees in the park:

▪️ Devil’s Bridge (Teufelsbrücke)
▪️ Steinhöfer Waterfall
And so much more to explore 🌳🌲

We skipped the city walk since the weather didn’t improve — and Kassel didn’t look too welcoming, to be honest.

We stayed overnight at a golfers’ hotel ⛳️🙈

Das 6-Gänge-Menü aus Arne’s Sup(p)er Club von Küchenchef Arne Anker war ein echtes Geschmackserlebnis – kreativ, raffiniert und einfach köstlich!
